In my teens and twenties, I took several multi-day road trips, and some of my favorite memories came from the unexpected stops along the way. Those adventures sparked a lifelong love of exploring and understanding this country. By the time I turned 40, I had visited all but a handful of states, so I set myself on a challenge to visit all 50 before turning 50.
